St. George, Utah may not have drive-thru wedding chapels like nearby Las Vegas, but the natural beauty and long history of Southern Utah makes a great backdrop for any wedding or reception. If you or someone you know is planning on tying the knot soon, consider some of these spots for your big day. Clarion Suites St. George also hosts banquets for weddings, receptions, showers and more.

Red Hills Desert Garden

Cactus may not be fit for bouquets, but who needs a florist when you can be surrounded by thousands of unique desert plants? Red Hills Desert Garden is a beautiful buffet of native flora and rare fauna like the Virgin River Roundtail Chub.

The Red Hills Desert Garden has 19 special gardens featuring plants found in the St. George areas such as wildflower, sage and yucca gardens. Such a unique spot is sure to enhance your wedding photos and atmosphere with a flavor only Southern Utah could provide.

St. George LDS Temple

This location may not be an option for non-LDS couples, but it's certainly worth a visit with your sweetheart. This LDS Temple was the first built after Brigham Young and the Mormon settlers reached Utah. As the first LDS Temple west of the Mississippi River, it's a historic landmark surrounded by beautiful garden grounds, fountains and more.

Pioneer Park & Tonaquint Nature Center
