If you are looking for somewhere to go near St. George this summer, why not visit the Tuacahn Center for the Arts? The venue puts on multiple concerts and musicals every year. The center includes a huge, outdoor amphitheatre with close to 2,000 seats to showcase its musicals. The spot is a perfect location for summer nights with the whole family. Here is a bit about what the Tuacahn Center for the Arts has to offer this season.

Peter Pan

Everyone has wanted to stay a kid forever at least once in their life. Peter Pan made that possible in the book by J.M. Barrie. This year, the Tuacahn Center for the Arts is putting on their own production of Peter Pan, a musical featuring classic songs from the 1953 Disney film. Go back to Neverland with Peter, Wendy, Tinker Bell and the Lost Boys, and experience childhood again with this musical! Peter Pan will run from May 27 to October 14.

Kids will love this musical, based on the Disney movie. Phil Collins and David Henry Hwang have helped to bring the jungle alive in this classic tale. Tarzan tells the story of a boy who was raised by apes and what happens when he first encounters humans, his own kind. Tuacahn's effects will make this a must-see show. Tarzan will run from June 3 through October 12.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

With a score by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is sure to be a beautiful production. Victor Hugo's story and Tuacahn's stage bring the audience to 15th century Paris. Audiences will love this new telling of Quasimodo and Esmeralda's adventure. They will also remember familiar music from the film by Disney. All in all, The Hunchback of Notre Damewill be a magical production. The Hunchback of Notre Dame will run from July 29 to October 15.

Prices for all single musical productions run anywhere from $23-$79 per ticket. You can also purchase a season package to view all three shows for $59-$227. If you are looking for more fun, Tuacahn also offers dinner before the show and backstage tours.
